How to apply for a GNS home
The GNS application process has three steps: call 701-371-1724 to check availability, fill out a short written application, then meet us to walk the home and sign a lease. Most renters are in a signed lease within a week of the first call.
Application steps
- Step 1
Call us first
Before an application, we like to talk. Call Shawn at 701-371-1724 and we can tell you if the home is available, what the pet policy is, and anything else we can answer right there.
- Step 2
Fill out an application
We will share a short rental application with you. We ask for the standard things: employment, references, prior rental history, and a credit check authorization.
- Step 3
Meet up and sign the lease
If we all agree it is a good fit, we will meet, walk the home one more time, sign a clear written lease, and hand you the keys.
What to have ready
A short document checklist
You do not need a binder of paperwork. A few things make this part move quickly:
- Photo ID
- Proof of income (two recent pay stubs or equivalent)
- Two references we can actually call
- Prior landlord, if applicable
Ready to start?
Pick up the phone and we will go from there. Most of our renters are in a lease within a week of the first call.
